Since many years we deliver energy and resource saving solutions for the building automation systems of our customers. The topic of energy management has become a major focus during the past decade.

To ensure the sustainability and environmental compatibility of our products and services, we are aiming for a certification of our environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 until this summer.

The Norm, which was first introduced in 1996, aims for a continuous iterative improvement of a company’s environmental policy and goals. Therefore, the classical Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) method, which is known within quality management, is used.

In our case that means the first step is planning and implementation of a functional system. After that the environmental management system should get monitored continuously. Therefore, set goals are compared with the actual outcome. As a result, continuous improvement of the systems can be expected.

We hope that we can finish the audit later this year!
